We are sad to announce that one of our dearest staff members AUGUSTINE ONYADRILE passed away.
Augustine was one of the brilliant employees of PALM Corps working as an Agribusiness Development Officer having joined the organization in January 2017. He attended his secondary school at Mvara SS Arua and City View High School, Kyebando before pursuing Diploma in Accounting and Finance course at Makerere Business Institute, Kampala.
On the 31st August 2018, while riding to his ancestral home with a brother, he was involved in an accident that left his spine severely damaged claiming his life a week later. His death has left many shattered as he was still a very young man who was set for bigger and better accomplishments ahead. Augustine had just turned 30 celebrating his birthday on the 15th August 2018 together with his colleagues at PALM Corps.
He was very humble, honest and one of those with the best attitude to work in PALM Corps.
He was loving and so he got along very well with workmates and the people he served. He is a talented footballer – member of Rhino camp refugee settlement football team formed by staff of NGOs working in the camp.
He will be missed dearly by family, friends and the entire PALM Corps.
May his soul rest peacefully eternally.
